This Week In Crozet (9/3/25)

Sep 4th-10th

Connecting you to what’s happening around town

Around Town

Crozet Toy Store Opportunity – The founder of the toy and craft boutique next to Crozet Creamery is looking for someone to take it into its next chapter. "I built the Inspiration Station to offer a community space that fosters creativity and exploration. Children are sensory learners, and yearn for safe places to express themselves and the physical experience of finding that new perfect toy,” said Rose Guterbock.

While she is moving on to focus on her own creative practice, she’d like to find someone with the same passion….   “If you love toys, art, and working with families, this is a dream business! It’s more than a retail store—it’s a destination for creativity and connection”, she said.  To learn more, click on the link below or email her at [email protected].

VegFest Returns! - Cville VegFest returns on Saturday, September 14, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at IX Park, and it’s free for all! Sponsored by the owner’s of Crozet’s Bar Botanical, this vibrant vegan community festival features plant-based foods, live music, entertainment, speakers, children’s activities, yoga, and more. With a mission to promote nonviolence, food accessibility, and a healthier world for humans and animals alike, VegFest brings together nonprofits, local businesses, and volunteers for a joyful day of fun, compassion, and connection.

Crozet Men’s Baseball Team Nears Full Roster - The Crozet-based men’s baseball team is nearly ready to roll for the 2026 season - 15 players are signed up, and organizers are looking for 10–15 more to fill out the roster and cover part-timers. The team will play in the 2026 Blue Ridge Men’s Baseball League, a wood-bat league for players 21+ (24+ to pitch), with most games on Sundays from late April through late August. Home games and practices will be in or near Crozet, with backup options in Charlottesville. Interested? Fill out the Google form to stay in the loop.
