Crozet Citizens to Tackle “Unresolved Issues” – The Crozet Community Association (CCA) is meeting this Thursday, May 8, at 7:30 PM at Crozet Park in the building behind the basketball courts. The meeting is open to the public and all Crozet residents are encouraged to attend.
The main item on the agenda is to discuss “Unresolved Issues for Crozet”. There will be brief presentations, open community discussions, and resolutions on several topics, including: the Montclair stream, the Eastern Avenue Connector, and AC44, the County’s 20-year Comprehensive Plan update.
Not to be confused with the County-run Crozet Community Advisory Committee (CCAC), the CCA is entirely led by local Crozet citizens and is independent of the County. Best known for its work on the Crozet Independence Day celebration and fireworks show, the CCA has most importantly served as a non-partisan advocate for Crozet’s interests for over 40 years.
“I welcome everyone to join us at Thursday’s meeting. Crozet has always been a place where neighbors work together whenever we need to solve big problems facing our community. For many of us, it feels like now is one of those times,” said Tim Tolson, CCA President.

Local Vineyards Make the List of Virginia’s Best - Big cheers to some Crozet-area standouts—Grace Estate Winery and Veritas Vineyard & Winery—for being named among the top Virginia wineries to visit right now by Wine Enthusiast!
Grace Estate, perched on Mount Juliet in Crozet, earned praise for its vineyard-first approach and minimal-intervention style. If you haven’t sipped their red blend or surprisingly savory Sauvignon Blanc yet, this is your sign.
Veritas also made the cut thanks to winemaker Emily Hodson’s talent for crafting elegant, Old World-style wines with a regional twist. Their Petit Verdot, Sauvignon Blanc, and red blends were singled out as standouts. Whether you're doing a guided tasting or just lounging on the lawn with a glass, it's a must-stop for any wine lover.
Congrats to both of these local gems for representing our area so well on the state (and national!) stage.
