Crozet Artisan Depot August Guest Artists
Crozet Artisan Depot is featuring two talented Virginia artists this August:
Barbara Trovillo (Nelson County) – A contemporary impressionist painter, Barbara works primarily in oil using palette knives, squeegees, and brushes to build vibrant, layered scenes. Her show, Captured Moments, Whimsy and Wonder, celebrates texture, color, and joy.
Karis Swink Barry (Mt. Crawford) – Karis brings porcelain to life with playful and functional pottery using engobeand sgraffito techniques. Her pieces are designed to be both beautiful and uplifting in everyday use.
Stop by the Depot to explore their work and meet the artists on August 16th from 11 AM–1 PM!

Billy Wagner In Canton - Miller School baseball coach Billy Wagner was officially inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame on July 27, 2025, becoming the first left‑handed reliever and the first player from a NCAA Division III school ever enshrined, after finishing his MLB career with 422 saves — eighth‑most all time.
