Albemarle County Budget Town Hall - Have questions about Albemarle County's yearly recommended budget of $724 million? Everyone is invited to attend an upcoming town hall and open house to learn about the Fiscal Year 2027 budget priorities, meet department staff, and discuss the projects currently shaping our community. The evening kicks off with an open house to explore local government services, followed by a formal presentation from the County Executive and a live Q&A session. Childcare will be provided on-site to ensure all residents can participate in this important conversation about our local revenue outlook and project funding.

Ski The Pond - The annual Pond Skim returns to Wintergreen Resort on Saturday, March 8, to celebrate the end of the ski season with a splash starting at 12:00 PM. Participants can register at the learning area from 9:00 to 11:30 AM ($5 cash only) to show off their best costumes and see if they can skim across the icy pool for a chance to win.

Veritas Wine Sale - Veritas Vineyards is hosting a big Warehouse Sale on Saturday and Sunday, March 7 and 8, offering rare "library gems" and vintages dating back to the late 2000s as they clear out their cellar. It’s a first-come, first-served "spring cleaning" event where you can shop by the bottle or case, with Wine Club members getting exclusive early access on Friday, March 6, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
