This Week In Crozet (4/29/26)

April 30th-May 6th

Connecting you to what’s happening around town

Around Town

A New Website. More Communities. The Same Commitment to Local. Next week, we are launching the most significant update in our history. After months of refinement, our new platform will provide a 10x better experience for discovering what matters locally. We are expanding our reach to include Staunton, Waynesboro, Charlottesville, and Nelson, bringing our unique brand of local connection to the entire region. There is much more to explore, and you’ll see it all in seven days.

Crozet Community Association May Meeting - The Crozet Community Association is hosting a timely “Community Conversation” regarding school capacity in Albemarle County on Tuesday, May 5, at 7:00 PM in the Crozet Library. Featuring speakers from the ACPS Family Council and the School Board, the meeting will address growth impacts on local schools and potential solutions for 2027 and beyond. Residents are encouraged to attend this Q&A session to stay informed on how these capacity challenges affect families and future planning in our area.

Crozet Artisan Depot May Expo - The Crozet Artisan Depot is featuring visual artist Adam Reinhard and ceramicist Harry Moxley as guest artists throughout the month of May. The exhibit, showcasing Reinhard's local landscape paintings and Moxley’s "MoxPots" stoneware, runs from May 1 to May 31 at the historic train depot. You can meet both artists in person during a special reception on Saturday, May 16, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
