In Case You Missed It - On Monday, a real steam engine rolled through Crozet. Railroad fans line up along the tracks to witness a slice of history. We couldn’t get a good shot from Crozet, but here’s what it looked like coming through Waynesboro before entering the (new) Blue Ridge Tunnel. Click image below for video.

The Norfolk and Western 611, also known as the "Spirit of Roanoke" and the "Queen of Steam", is the only surviving example of Norfolk and Western's class J 4-8-4 type "Northern" streamlined steam locomotives.
