This Week In Crozet (7/29/26)

Jul 30-August 5

Connecting you to what’s happening around town

Spotlights Around Town

A Milestone Worth Sharing - We built FrontPorchx to become the most useful place to discover what's happening in Crozet and all around central Virginia.

When enough people rely on something, they tell their friends. They subscribe. They click. They submit events. Businesses participate. Search engines notice. Google starts sending even more people your way. That's not luck; it's what happens when a community decides something is worth using.

Today, that momentum is showing up. FrontPorchx now appears at or near the top of searches for Crozet events, including Google's AI results. More importantly, it means local businesses and organizations have an opportunity to be seen where people are already looking.

Thanks for helping us build something that's becoming more valuable every week.

Stop by the artist reception on Saturday, August 8, from 11 a.m.–1 p.m., where you'll also enjoy live traditional Irish music from An Lar and light refreshments.

Shout out a town highlight, student achievements, food drives, or post about zoning meetings and sports sign-ups in the weekly newsletter. Head HERE to create your story and get the word out in the next newsletter!
