Your Wednesday Newsletter Has a New Name

For the past few years, Crozet United has helped make it easier to see what is happening around town and plan your week and weekend.

Beginning this week, the weekly events newsletter will arrive from FrontPorchx instead of Crozet United. It will still come every Wednesday morning, but it will be easier to browse, with clearer event details, more photos, direct links and more local spotlights.

Why are we making this change?

We started with a simple goal: Give Crozet one complete place to find local events, discover nearby businesses and see what is happening each week.

We are proud that it has worked. More residents are finding things to do, and local businesses and organizations are reaching more people.

Other communities have asked for the same kind of resource, so we have rebuilt the platform to serve more areas without taking away from the quality of the Crozet newsletter.

Sending the newsletter from FrontPorchx is part of that transition. It also means we can uncover more great events throughout the surrounding area and share the best ones with Crozet readers.

What happens to Crozet United?

Crozet United is not going away.

Crozet United will continue reporting in depth on local issues that matter to the community, especially stories that other outlets may not have the time or resources to cover.

You will continue to see Crozet United reporting featured in the FrontPorchx newsletter. The difference is simple:

FrontPorchx will help you find what is happening. Crozet United will help you understand what is happening.

What will the new newsletter include?

The FrontPorchx newsletter will remain focused on making it easier to plan your week and weekend.
